The Belt-Ty(TM) standard type has a head height that is approximately 35% lower than conventional bands, preventing snagging of the head and resulting in a smaller overall bundle. The cut ends of the tie wraps do not protrude, so they do not harm surrounding cables or workers. Additionally, the elastomeric tie wraps are made from a flexible material that does not tightly squeeze communication cables. They are elastic, adhere closely to the cables, and prevent lateral movement. Made from halogen-free material, they have a UL94V-0 flame retardancy rating.
